I am always excited to photograph at The Paseo. With its majestic views of the Superstition Mountains rising up out of the desert, weddings there always feel grand and luxurious. Sharon and Val coupled this grandeur with small, personalized touches that made their wedding incredibly warm and intimate as well. One such detail was the inclusion of a framed portrait of Val's best friend in the ceremony. He was to have served as Val's best man, but died unexpectedly three days before the wedding. By choosing to honor both their love for each other and their commitment to family and friends, Sharon and Val created a highly personal, deeply touching celebration that no one will soon forget.
