It's said that good things come to those who wait and for Melissa and Larry, love is one of those good things. As we strolled among the stunning desert landscape of Coons Bluff, they reminisced about meeting each other 20 years ago, parting ways, then bumping into one another as runners in the same race two decades later. For all those years they'd been apart, they'd been growing toward each other; becoming the people that that would one day meet eyes and recognize within the other a deep and intimate kinship. Melissa and Larry agree-- it was well worth the wait.
